In-year transfers
Changing school during an academic year is referred to as an 'in-year transfer'. This can be done at any time and information on how to do so can be found on the Oxfordshire County Council website: https://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/residents/schools/apply-school-place/move-different-school
To apply for a September start, you need to wait for the first day after the May half term.
If you are offered a place, once you have accepted it please contact the school office so that we can arrange a visit, a suitable start date and provide you with the necessary enrolment forms.
Wolvercote is a popular and often oversubscribed school; if you are unsuccessful in gaining a place, it is possible to ask the Local Authority to keep your child on a continued interest list which means that they will alert you should a place arise. You will remain on the list until June of that academic year; in order to stay on the continued interest list for the following academic year, you will need to re-apply after 1st July.
